It all started
IN 2017…
A group of Beverly Woods East neighbors thought it would be a great idea to run around the whitewater center for 24 hours.
The USNWC called the event Time Laps and a crazy idea became an annual tradition between friends.
THEN, in May 2020…
COVID-19 was in full swing and THIS weird group of FRIENDS learned their favorite RACE…
was cancelled.
A slight sense of panic (from the cancellation, of course) led to feeding the addiction with a homegrown version of the event in our own backyard… literally.
The Beginning
of a new tradition…
In June, we called on the Beverly Woods East community — and the surrounding area — to come together to run, have some fun, and raise money and awareness for a good cause.
It was this crazy guy’s idea…
Mory Lowe

We ran all night…
and the next day…
for 24 hours
300+ miles
Over $5,000 raised
and hundreds of pounds of food and paper-goods donations for the South Meck High School Food Pantry.
We had no idea what this little neighborhood gathering would become…
